The Lesbian Discussion Group at the Gay's The Word Book Shop (WC1 N 1AB) has been going for over 35 years and is one of the most established community experiences in London.
It is open to all women who wish to either discuss, listen to, or bond over topics that deal with anything from love, life and dating to politics, philosophies and coming out. No tickets or prior RSVPs are required. Just come along. Please arrive early to secure a seat.
The group takes place every Wednesday from 8pm - 9pm inside the bookshop itself. There is a steady stream of newcomers and everybody is more than welcome to also come along to our informal socials that tend to happen right after the discussion has taken place (we usually go to a bar or pub in the area).
Please arrive on time as we lock the door during the discussion group in order to avoid disruptions. Sometimes we also run out of space so make sure to arrive early to secure a seat. Should you arrive after 8pm, we would recommend that you go to the New Bloomsbury Set down the street and then meet us there after 9pm once the shop's door has been opened.
